I entered the classroom totally unaware of the Grade 10 ICT lessons and left having picked up new skills each day. I'm happy to be a part of this ICT class, and by the end of the quarter, I can claim that I learnt a lot. Information and Communications Technology, or ICT, is primarily concerned with the infrastructure and elements of computing both now and in the past. I discovered a lot about the history of the internet, which is one of its components. From the first artificial earth satellite launched by the USSR to Wi-Fi as we know it today.
The pioneers and architects of the internet had a difficult voyage, but without their contributions, the modern internet would not exist today; additionally, the tools and services provided by the internet, how to utilize them effectively, and how we may make the most of it, particularly as student novices.
I am able to contact with others, send files, and find entertainment through the internet. It also provides information for studies. as well as my favorite - online shopping. I gained knowledge of the various strategies in utilizing the internet effectively, as well as of the server and web browser tools that actually made it easier for me to utilize the internet appropriately and to make use of the various protocols of the internet.
Making blogs is my favorite part since it allows me to express myself through writing. I get knowledge about the many blog types that I might use in the future. I use my online journal as a way to express myself in a way that I could not convey in person. It serves as both therapy and a coping mechanism for all the things going on.
There were undoubtedly challenging sections, but thanks to my classmates and teacher, I had no problems at all. They were there to guide me, which made it simple for me to comprehend the courses and tasks.
Moving on, searching is regular and necessary for students. I'm happy to say that I now understand the several search engines I may use, including Yahoo, Bing, and the well-known Google, as well as the various search phrases I can use to find information more quickly and efficiently. Even in today's world where you can often acquire what you want with just one click, despite how quick and efficient it is not always dependable. Information is incredibly accessible, yet trustworthy sources are quite difficult to uncover. The internet has made it quite simple to disseminate falsified content. So, before clicking, we must think twice.
I'll keep all the lessons I learned this quarter, allowing me to apply them wisely for the rest of my life.
