With the global pandemic still ongoing and restrictions in place, finding ways to celebrate Christmas and make it special without jeopardizing safety can be difficult. However, with a little creativity and ingenuity, you can still make your Christmas celebration one to remember! In this article, I share my own experience of celebrating Christmas in the new normal, as well as tips for making it a fun time for everyone.

It's no secret that 2020 has been unlike any other year. The worldwide pandemic has altered how we live, work, and play. And, as the holiday season approaches, it's safe to say that Christmas will be a little different this year. The holiday season is about spending time with family, friends, and loved ones. It's a time to get together and have fun. This year, however, things are different. With the COVID-19 pandemic still raging around the world, many people are staying at home and celebrating Christmas in a different way.

If you're used to spending the holidays with your loved ones in person, this year you may have to get creative in order to stay connected. I'd like to share tips on how to stay connected with your loved ones during the holiday season:

1. Plan ahead. If you know you won't be able to be with your loved ones in person this year, reach out to them ahead of time and plan how you'll stay in touch. Whether it's scheduling regular video calls or sending each other cards and letters, make sure you have a plan so you can stay connected.

2. Get creative. There are plenty of ways to connect with your loved ones even if you can't be together in person. Write them a letter or send them a care package. You could also create a photo album or video montage of your favorite memories together. Whatever you do, make sure it's something that will mean something to them and make them feel close to you even when you're apart.

3. Make the most of technology. With today's technology, there's no excuse not to stay in touch with your loved ones during the holidays! Use video chat

Christmas is a special time of year and one that should be enjoyed with family and friends. That being said, the current restrictions in place due to COVID-19 can make celebrating Christmas a bit more difficult. Fortunately, there are still plenty of ways to make this Christmas memorable despite the restrictions. By getting creative with your decorations, connecting with loved ones virtually and making sure to take some time for yourself, you can ensure that this holiday season will be one full of joy and cheer!
